I’m a fitness influencer – flight crew threatened to throw away my smelly lunch I brought on a plane

Someone has egg on their face.

Flight attendants allegedly kicked up a stink after a fitness influencer and Playboy cover model brought a stinky egg-laden lunch into the first class cabin of a plane because she was on a strict diet.

“The flight attendant came to talk to me about the smell which was disturbing,” Vanusa Freitas, 32, told Jam Press about the odiferous incident, which happened on an unspecified flight from London to Spain.

The bombshell said she follows a “very strict” diet to maintain her ripped figure, which she often flaunts to her more than 116,000 Instagram followers.

“I always carry my cooking with me,” said Freitas (pictured holding a pre-prepared meal). “Everyone who knows me is aware that I follow a strict diet and have a very precise feeding schedule.” Press Office of Jam Press/CO

That includes eating 250 eggs and more than 30 kilograms of sweet potatoes a month, a regimen she maintains by bringing a certain number of each in a lunchbox wherever she goes, local media reports.

“This time was no different,” Freitas said discussing the latest debacle. “I went to catch my flight and, of course, I brought my own takeout.”

Unfortunately, the picky eater’s pre-prepared spread did not go down well with the other passengers because her eggs, while certainly healthy, gave off a strong stench of sulphur.

She first noticed something was missing after her colleagues started giving it to her bad smell.

“I noticed people looking at me strangely, but I didn’t pay much attention,” Freitas recalls. “It was only when a flight attendant came that I realized the smell was bothering the others.”

She said, “I was told it was too strong, that other passengers were complaining, and they even considered throwing away my meal because of it.”

Despite the uproar, she said she convinced crew members to let her keep her unpleasant meal until the end of the flight.

The content creator, who famously appeared on the cover of Playboy Finland in January, says she refuses to let other people’s opinions influence how she lives her life.

“I understand where people are coming from, but it’s complicated,” Freitas said. “I have my lifestyle and I have to stick to my diet.

“We have to find a middle ground, don’t we?”

She added, “Maybe I’ll bring something different next time, but give up meal prep? This is not happening.

Incidentally, this is not the first time Freitas has gotten into trouble for bringing her wheat.

Last month, the gym bunny revealed that a man once dumped her in the middle of a first date when she took out a packed lunch at a fancy London restaurant.

“We were in the middle of the meeting” he got up and left, Freitas said.
